A design-led gardening and floristry School rooted in the land, Built for those who want to learn, create and connect
A place to slow down, learn something new and reconnect with the rhythm of the seasons.
The Garden at the Pond brings together gardening, floristry and shared experiences in a setting designed to feel calm, considered and welcoming.
Our Experiences
A collection of seasonal workshops, courses and gatherings designed to bring people together through nature, creativity and shared experience.
Workshops
Step into a slower pace and learn the art of seasonal floristry.
From wreath making to hand-tied arrangements and floral crowns, our workshops are designed to feel calm, creative and immersive. Led by our resident florist Tina, each session invites you to work with natural materials and leave with something thoughtfully made by hand.
Courses
Build confidence in the garden with practical, hands-on learning.
Led by RHS-trained gardener Olly, our courses are designed to develop your skills over time from planting and soil care to seasonal garden maintenance. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your approach, you’ll gain knowledge you can take back into your own space.
Private Events
A beautiful setting for gatherings that feel both relaxed and special.
From birthdays and hen celebrations to intimate occasions with friends and family, our space can be tailored to create something truly personal. Surrounded by the garden, each experience is designed with care and attention to detail.
Corporate Days
A more thoughtful approach to time spent together.
Designed for teams looking to step away from the usual, our corporate experiences focus on creativity, connection and learning. Whether in the greenhouse or out in the garden, it’s an opportunity to reset, collaborate and enjoy something different.
Set within the Devon countryside at Fordmore Farm Shop, The Garden at the Pond is a space designed to feel calm, considered and connected to the land.
A purpose-built classroom and greenhouse sit at its centre, filled with light, planting and space to create. Beyond this, the garden unfolds with wildflowers, herbs and seasonal planting alongside quiet corners to pause and take it all in.
No two visits are the same.
As the seasons change, so does the garden shaping the workshops, the flowers and the experience itself.
From spring planting to autumn wreath making, everything is guided by the rhythm of the year.
A place to learn, gather and take your time.
Through the Seasons
No two visits are the same.
What you see, create and experience changes with the seasons, from the first signs of spring through to the quiet stillness of winter.
